With the college football season less than a month away, USA TODAY just released the general consensus of coaches on national rankings in the 2011-2012 Preseason Poll. Here is the way the Top 10 shape up:

Stanford

Wisconsin

So, who is the big shocker of the bunch? Well, that would be Florida State. While many agree that EJ Manuel can fill the shoes of Christian Ponder, and the team stays mostly intact with a more mature bunch and some nice new editions, it is still a bit of a stretch to rank the FSU Seminoles 5th in the pre-season poll.
